- Database Durum wheat and phytopathologies

What is it
The material obtained from various national institutions with homogeneous and repeated protocols over the years thanks to the Experimental Evaluation Networks has always been available to the scientific community for investigations on various topics and has allowed the creation of substantial databases in dynamic updating. On these materials, the Rome office performs analyses to determine the protein content of the grain on all samples sent, while on flour, semolina and pasta it performs analyses of: ash, SDS, gluten content and Gluten Index, W and P/L alveographic, colour and after pasta making, overall assessment of the product.

What is it for
Data relating to the agronomic, productive and qualitative responses from dozens of experimental tests are statistically processed, summarised in summary tables for Regions, Areas and Macroareas, published in national technical-informative journals and on the website of the Rome office of the Centre in time to provide indications to operators in the supply chain for the imminent sowing of the following growing season.

Who is it for
Supply chain operators: researchers, technicians, seed producers, trade associations, farmers, processing industry operators.
